CCB's net interest income jumped to 184.1 million levs last year from 126.8 million levs in 2022, whereas net fee and commission income declined to 53.4 million levs from 54.7 million levs, the lender said in an annual financial statement on Tuesday.
Total after-tax comprehensive income came in at some 108.6 million levs in the review period compared to 31.1 million levs the prior year.
Loans and advances to customers slipped to 3.02 billion levs at the end of 2023 from 3.03 billion levs at end-2022, whereas customer deposits increased to 7.33 billion levs from 7.05 billion levs, the lender said.
The bank's total assets stood at 8.19 billion levs at the end of last year, up from 7.79 billion levs a year earlier. CCB was Bulgaria's sixth-largest lender by assets at the end of December, according to the most recent central bank data.
The lender had a standalone liquidity coverage ratio of 392.4% at the end of 2023, compared to a minimum regulatory requirement of 100%.
As of 1501 CET on Wednesday, shares in CCB traded 0.63% higher at 1.61 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
