Bulgaria’s CBA Franchise signs lease contract to open new supermarket in Ruse

November 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian supermarket operator CBA Asset Management [BUL:C81] said its subsidiary CBA Franchise has signed a ten-year lease contract to open a new supermarket in the city of Ruse.

The contract was signed on November 5 and covers a property of 320 square metres located in the central part of the city, CBA Asset Management said in a filing with the Sofia bourse on Tuesday.

In middle of September the company said it has closed down one of its supermarkets in Ruse due to poor sales revenue and planned to reorganise its stores in the city and was considering a new location.

At present, as many as six stores operate under the CBA brand in Ruse, on the Danube river.

At the end of September, CBA Asset Management operated through its subsidiaries 39 stores in 15 cities across Bulgaria.
