In September, the industrial sub-index also remained unchanged on the month, as managers reported a certain improvement in production activity over the last three months but have more unfavourable expectations regarding the volume of orders.
The sub-index in construction rose by 4.1 percentage points from August, due to the managers' more favourable assessment regarding the present economic situation in the sector.
The retail sub-index went up 3.6 percentage points on the month in September, due to managers' improved assessment about the present business situation. The uncertain economic situation remains the main problem for the retail business.
The business climate gauge in the services sector lost 7.6 percentage points in September, as managers revealed more moderate expectations about the business situation in the next six months.
Overall, the managers from all four sectors said they do not expect a hike in prices over the next three months.
