Bulgaria’s Bulgartabac Trading raises capital by 30.7 mln euro

SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 7 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian tobacco trader Bulgartabac Trading increased its capital by 60 million levs ($39.6 million/30.7 million euro), the company’s majority shareholder, tobacco processing plant Blagoevgrad-BT [BUL:55B], said on Friday.

Bulgartabac Trading issued 60 million new shares with a nominal value of 1.0 lev each, Blagoevgrad-BT said in a bourse filing.

Following the capital increase, Bulgartabac Trading's capital stands at some 139 million levs, commercial register data indicated.

Blagoevgrad-BT, which controls 65.04% of Bulgartabac Trading, is 96.2% owned by Bulgarian tobacco group Bulgartabac Holding [BUL:57B].
