November 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's BDZ Passengers, part of state-owned railway group BDZ Holding, said on Friday that it has launched a tender for the lease of electric locomotives, worth an estimated 2.9 million levs ($1.6 million/1.5 million euro), VAT excluded.
The tender, which is divided into six lots, envisages the lease of a total of eight electric locomotives, BDZ Passengers said in a tender notice.
Bids can be submitted for each of the six lots in the tender and will be ranked based on various technical criteria.
The deadline for submitting offers is November 28.
