Bulgaria's Asterion, Euroins raise stakes in Delta Credit

October 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian insurer Euroins Insurance and financial services company Asterion Bulgaria [BUL:8AVA] have increased their stakes in local debt purchase and securitisation company Delta Credit SPV [BUL:DLC], Delta said on Friday.

After a transaction settled on October 13, Asterion lifted its stake to 8.61%, Delta Credit said in a bourse filing. As a result, Asterion now has 111,970 voting rights in Delta’s general meeting.

In parallel, Euroins Insurance, which is part of Euroins Insurance Group (EIG), has amassed a stake of 5.91%, corresponding to 76,800 voting rights. The shareholding was increased in a deal settled on October 12.

Financial details of both transactions were not disclosed.

Shares in Delta Credit last traded at 37 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data showed. The company’s equity capital is divided into 1.3 million shares with a par value of 1 lev ($0.50/0.51 euro) each.
