The plant will make end products for electrical equipment designed for renewable energy sources and power transmission for leading global companies, the innovation ministry said in a press release.
The project is set to expand AQ Electric's operations and create 170 new jobs.
"We have purchased new machinery and will continue to invest in new equipment," AQ Electric CEO Emil Nikolov said.
AQ Electric specialises in designing and manufacturing electrical panels and complex metal components for industrial clients. With production sites across Radomir, Pernik and Kyustendil totalling 50,000 square metres, the company employs over 1,200 staff.
