September 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's consumer prices increased by an annual 17.7% in August, after rising by 17.3% on the year in July, the statistical office said on Wednesday.

In monthly comparison terms, inflation in Bulgaria added 1.2% in the eighth month of 2022, after edging up 1.1% in July, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a monthly report on consumer price indices.
