Bulgaria's Albena trims first-half net loss

August 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] said on Wednesday it trimmed its consolidated net loss to 11.2 million levs ($6.8 million/5.7 million euro) in the first half of 2017, from a net loss of 18.4 million levs in the like period of 2016.

Albena’s revenue rose to 23.2 million levs in January-June, from 21.16 million levs in the corresponding period of last year.

The cost of goods sold increased to 35.4 million levs in the first six months of 2017, from 31.9 million levs the year before.

The company's operating loss increased to 17.2 million levs in the period under review, from 15.7 million levs in the first half of 2016.
