Bulgaria's 9-mo new passenger car registrations down 37% - ACEA

SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 16 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria fell by an annual 37% to 17,029 in the first nine months of the year, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Friday, citing provisional figures.

In September alone, new passenger car registrations in Bulgaria dropped 28% to 1,823, ACEA said in a press release.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by an annual 29% to just over 7 million in the January-September period of this year.

In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations were 27.3% lower on the year at 822,749.
