Turnover from information and communication services went up 13.8% year-on-year in the October-December period, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a statement, citing preliminary data.
The growth was supported by a 22.9% leap in motion picture, video and TV programme production and music publishing activities, as well as a 21.5% increase in information service activities.
Within the other business services segment, architectural and engineering activities; technical testing and analysis posted the highest annual rise, at 26%. It was followed by advertising and market research, which booked a revenue increase of 22.7%.
In comparison, turnover from transportation, storage and postal services lost 0.8% on the year in the fourth quarter. The fall was chiefly driven by an 8.2% decline in water transport services.
