Bulgarian tie-up signs 9.6 mln euro road maintenance deal

December 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said on Monday it has awarded a 18.8 million levs ($10.6 million/9.6 million euro) road maintenance contract to a consortium comprising local companies Nivel Stroy and Patno Poddarzhane Kyustendil.

The deal was signed on November 26, RIA said in a notice.

The winner will maintain the 619.4 kilometres long road network of Kyustendil municipality located in south-western part of the country.

The contracting authority has received two offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract. Bids were ranked mainly based on price.
