The blue-chip SOFIX, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), edged up 0.56% to 325.77 points following a 0.84% increase on Friday.
The broader BG40, which includes the 40 most traded shares, edged down 0.02% to 118.09 points after gaining 1.43% in the previous trading session.
Total turnover on the regulated market rose to 1.9 million levs ($1.3 million/971,000 euro) from 1.21 million levs on Friday. Corporate bonds contributed 1.5 million levs of Monday's total turnover.
Eight of the 13 SOFIX components advanced, two fell and three ended flat.
Industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] led the SOFIX gainers, closing 4.36% higher at 0.67 levs as 43 018 shares changed hands.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:5BU] was the top blue-chip decliner, closing 0.91% lower at 0.545 levs in a volume of 9,898 shares.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, ended 0.10% lower at 79.03 points after rising by 0.42% on Friday.
The BG TotalReturn30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.58% to 252.32 points following a 0.38% decrease in the previous session.
The CGIX Corporate Governance index, which includes companies strictly applying corporate governance principles, gained 1.24% to 77.04 points. It lost 0.12% on Friday.
