Bulgarian stock indices slip further, M+S Hydraulic paces losers

SOFIX was mostly held back by a 3.45% decline at hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:MSH] to 11.20 levs, along with a 2.68% tumble in energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] to 1.45 levs.

M+S Hydraulic and Eurohold also pressed the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded companies on the Sofia bourse, lowering it by 0.10% to 154.26 points. The index was further hit by aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet [BUL:ALCM], which sank 2.86% to 6.80 levs.

The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, ended the session 0.19% lower at 783.35 points. It was weighed on by the losses at M+S Hydraulic and Eurohold, as well as a 2.44% slip at farming group Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH] to 20.00 levs.

A 4.04% drop in real estate investment trust Sopharma Buildings REIT [BUL:SFB] to 19.00 levs constrained the BGREIT index. The index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, dipped by 0.04% to 190.81 points.

The BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, on the other hand, rose by 0.22% to 103.23 points. It was lifted by biometric identification security systems developer Biodit [BUL:BDT], which added 3.76% to 1.38 levs, and Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON], which climbed by 1.69% to 3.00 levs.

Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse plunged to 520,599 levs ($291,358/266,177 euro) on Monday from some 21.2 million levs on Friday.

The stock that generated the highest turnover, of 274,023 levs, was diversified group Republic Holding [BUL:HREP]. The company's shares closed flat at 1.99 levs after 137,700 of them changed hands.
