Eurohold rose by 2.73% to 1.88 levs with as many as 24,891 shares traded, while Telelink went up by 2.13% to 12 levs. The index was additionally pushed up by IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L], which increased by 2% to 20.40 levs with 6,977 shares traded.
The top loser in the index was diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], which dropped by 5.54% to 0.75 levs with 70,670 shares traded. It was followed by First Investment Bank [BUL:FIB], which declined by 4.17% to 1.84 levs.
Chimimport and First Investment Bank dragged the performance of the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weigh. As a result, the index closed 0.33% lower at 717.14 points.
In contrast, the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded companies on the Sofia bourse, rose by 0.09% to 137.47 points. The positive performance was due to a gain of 4.72% to 26.60 levs at hotel operator Albena [BUL:ALB]. The index was also buoyed by Eurohold and Telelink.
Finally, the BGREIT index, which comprises seven real estate investment trusts, climbed by 0.24% to 180.09 points. The index was driven by Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF], which rose by 0.98% to 2.06 levs, and Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], which gained 0.34% to 2.99 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange crashed to 697,094 levs ($368,475/356,419 euro) on Monday from 9 million levs on Friday.
The biggest portion of the turnover, or 179,200 levs, was generated by Toplofikatsia-Burgas with as many as 112,000 shares traded. The stock closed flat at 1.60 levs.
