Bulgarian stock indices grow on M+S Hydraulic, Chimimport gains

March 28 (SeeNews) - Most indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange ended Thursday's trading session higher, with the blue-chip SOFIX adding 0.49% to 807.47 points, bourse data showed.

SOFIX was supported by a 6.73% leap in hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:MSH] to 11.10 levs and a 2.93% gain in diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM] to 0.702 levs.

The two companies also drove up the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. Both indices were further propelled by Zlaten Lev Holding [BUL:HLEV], which surged 17.37% to 4.46 levs.

Overall, the BGBX40 advanced by 0.10% to 164.88 points, while the BGTR30 climbed 0.73% to 818.94 points.

The BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, soared 2.30% to 97.26 points. It was lifted by a 7.92% jump in cargo drone developer Dronamics' special purpose vehicle Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON] to 2.59 levs.

In contrast, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, lost 0.14% to 191.51 points. It was held back by Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], which fell by 1.18% to 3.34 levs.

Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse slumped to some 1.6 million levs ($884,824/818,064 euro) on Thursday from 19.7 million levs on Wednesday.

The top stock by turnover was software and IT services group Bianor Holding [BUL:BNR], which generated 80,459 levs as 19,157 shares traded. The company closed 4.55% lower at 4.20 levs.
