Bulgarian stock indices end mixed, Eurohold paces blue-chip losers

March 21 (SeeNews) - The five indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed mixed on Thursday, with the blue-chip SOFIX edging down 0.04% to 811.02 points, bourse data showed.

The biggest decliner in the benchmark index was energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], which slipped 0.78% to 1.27 levs. It was followed by diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH], which lost 0.65% to 9.14 levs.

The broader BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, shed 0.21% to 165.18 points. The index was mostly driven down by a 9.09% drop in fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] to 19.00 levs.

By contrast, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, inched up 0.02% to 191.28 points. It was lifted by a 0.30% climb in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.33 levs.

The BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, surged 1.61% to 99.24 points, following a 7.60% jump in cargo drone developer Dronamics' special purpose vehicle Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON] to 2.69 levs.

Finally, the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, ended the trading session unchanged from the previous day's close, at 809.66 points.

The highest turnover of the day, at 284,852 levs ($158,852/145,642 euro), was generated by IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] after 4,189 shares changed hands. The stock closed 0.29% lower at 68.00 levs.

Total turnover on the main market of the BSE grew to 768,813 levs on Thursday from 570,726 levs a day earlier.
