December 8 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in decline on Thursday, with the blue-chip SOFIX declining for the second straight day, by 0.61% to 602.40 points, bourse data showed.
Energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] weighed the most on the blue-chip index, after registering a 2.70% drop to 1.80 levs with 24,150 shares traded.
In addition, SOFIX member Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] slipped 2.41% to 8.10 levs.
The main blue-chip gainer was software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH], which advanced 1.43% to 0.71 levs.
Eurohold and Doverie also pushed down the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The BGBX40 closed 0.37% lower at 138.41 points, with its decline tempered by a 2.80% rise in Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:SCOM] to 2.94 levs and a 2.54% gain in steel radiator manufacturer Korado Bulgaria [BUL:KBG] to 6.05 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, was also in decline, dipping 0.20% to 727.80 points on the back of Eurohold and Doverie's losses.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was again the only one to close in the black, edging up 0.07% to 184.73 points. Advance TerraFund REIT [BUL:ATER] was the sole gainer, adding 0.33% to 3.06 levs with 20,755 shares traded.
The most traded stock on Thursday was Velgraf Asset Management [BUL:VAM], which closed flat at 4.42 levs. As many as 1,000,850 shares in the company changed hands, contributing some 64% of the daily turnover.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market more than doubled to 6.9 million levs ($3.7 million/3.5 million euro) on Thursday from 3.4 million levs on Wednesday.
