The strong performance of the SOFIX was spearheaded by a 3.45% gain in software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] to 0.75 levs. On Tuesday, a majority-owned company subsidiary, Sciant, unveiled the acquisition of Albanian IT services firm ReSolutions.

IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] also contributed to the SOFIX rise, as it added 3.04% to 16.95 levs.

The top SOFIX decliner was Telelink Business Services Group [BUL:TBS], which dropped 1.97% to 12.45 levs in a trading volume of 1,618 shares.

The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, edged up 0.18% to 134.20 points, as Sirma Group and Allterco gains were offset by a 3.70% decline in poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] to 1.30 levs. Constituent Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BUL:TIB] also performed poorly, with a loss of 3.05% to 14.30 levs.

Both blue-chip winners also pushed up the BGTR30 index, under which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGTR30 closed 0.25% higher at 700.12 points.

Lastly, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, ticked up by 0.39% to 1780.30 points, on the back of a 1.06% in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 2.85 levs and a 1.00% increase in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.02 levs.
