Shelly Group also lifted the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight and which was additionally upheld by a 1.34% rise in Rodna Zemya Holding [BUL:HRZ] to 3.02 levs. Rodna Zemya was also the most liquid stock, generating 353,340 levs ($196,263/180,660 euro) from 117,000 units traded.

The BGTR30 inched up only 0.06% to 780.20, as it was constrained by a 1.57% decline in Eleven Capital [BUL:11C] to 18.80 levs. Furthermore, poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] erased 1.41% to 1.40 levs.

The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded companies on the Sofia bourse, went up 0.35% to 156.68 points. Its best-performing constituent was Synergon Holding [BUL:SNRG], which surged 14.53% to 0.985 levs in a trading volume of 1,800. By contrast, Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB] decreased 1.76% to 1.67 levs.

The BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, added 0.94% to 100.15 points, buoyed by a 9.09% jump in Sin Cars Industry [BUL:SIN] to 0.72 levs. Foods producer and distributor Smart Organic [BUL:SO] built on the previous day's success, going up 3.55% to 20.40 levs.

The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, wa the only index to finish the session in the doldrums, slipping 1.15% to 188.70 points. This was mainly due to an 11.86% slump in Sopharma Buildings REIT [BUL:SFB] to 20.80 levs. Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] slid 0.86% to 2.30 levs.

Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse declined to some 2.46 million levs on Wednesday from 3.59 million levs on Tuesday.
