The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), ended 0.48% lower at 319.68 points after falling by 1.02% on Monday.
The broader BG40, which includes the 40 most traded shares, was up 0.10% to 116.32 points after losing 0.95% in the previous trading session.
Total turnover on the regulated market rose to 1.3 million levs ($861,000/665,000 euro) from 414,192 levs on Monday.
Three of the 11 SOFIX members that were traded on Tuesday advanced and eight fell.
Industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] led the SOFIX gainers for a second session in a row, closing 1.20% higher at 0.76 levs as 8,000 shares changed hands.
Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF] was the top blue-chip decliner, closing 7.46% lower at 0.583 levs in a volume of 22,240 shares.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, ended 0.48% lower at 80.45 points after rising by 1.06% on Monday.
The BG TotalReturn30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.77% to 251.35 points, following a 0.05% increase in the previous trading session.
The CGIX Corporate Governance index, which includes companies strictly applying corporate governance principles, ended 1.35% lower at 75.01 points. It lost 0.24% on Monday.
