Bulgarian Power Tools Manufacturer Sparky Eltos 9-mo Net Profit Rises 41% - Table

October 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian power tools manufacturer Sparky Eltos said on Tuesday its nine-month net profit rose 41% on the year to 8.8 million levs ($5.6 million/4.5 million euro).

Company sales revenue in the nine months through September increased 18.2% from the year-ago period, Sparky Eltos said in a statement.

Sparky Eltos has said it expects sales revenue of 89.1 million levs in 2008 and 113.2 million levs in 2009, while pre-tax profit is seen reaching 14.2 million levs in 2008 and 20.1 million levs in 2009.

The company has announced plans to invest 25 million levs by the end 2010 to upgrade its production facilities and raise capacity.

The shares of the company, a component of the blue-chip SOFIX index, closed 2.2% higher at 3.7 levs on Tuesday. The statement was released after the end of trading.
