Bulgarian parl passes 2015 state budget, sets gap at 3.0%/GDP

The full text of the 2015 state budget act will be published on the National Assembly's website by the end of the week, a press officer of the parliament told SeeNews over the phone.

"I do not claim this to be one good budget, it is the possible budget," finance minister Vladislav Goranov said, as quoted by the state-run Bulgarian National Radio. Its main aim is to ensure stability and security after two years of political and social shocks and crises, he added.

Budget revenues are estimated at 36.8% of GDP, whereas expenditures are seen at 39.8% of GDP.

The state budget also envisages that Bulgaria raises a further 8.1 billion levs ($5.1 billion/4.1 billion euro) in debt next year.

The country's economy is seen expanding by 0.8%.
