December 12 (SeeNews) - Two tie-ups led by Bulgarian companies have completed their works on the rehabilitation of sections of the Momchilgrad-Krumovgrad road, worth a total of 21.4 million levs ($12.2 million/10.9 million euro), the country's Road Infrastructure Agency said.
A tie-up led by Bulgaria's GP Group and including Spain-based Contratas Iglesias carried out the rehabilitation of the larger 26.4-km section of the road under an 18 million levs contract, the government agency said in a statement.
The project benefited from EU funding under the Interreg V-A Greece-Bulgaria programme.
Another tie-up, comprising local companies Patstroyengineering, PSK Viastroy, Patishta, BSK-Gorna Oryahovitsa and Atlas Balkan, completed the rehabilitation of a further 6-km section of the road under a 3.4 million levs deal.
