Bulgarian insurer Euroins 9-mo net profit falls 17.3%

October 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian insurer Euroins [BUL:5IC] said its net profit for the first nine months of 2012 fell by an annual 17.3% to 846,000 levs ($562,000/433,000 euro).

The insurer’s gross premium income rose by 8.7% to 56.7 million levs in the January-September period, Euroins said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.

General motor insurance policies and third-party liability insurance for motor vehicles formed a combined 81.8% of Euroins’ premium income in the period under review.

Euroins is a unit of Euroins Insurance Group, the insurance sub-holding of Eurohold Bulgaria.
