The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), ended 0.57% lower at 332.43 points, after rising by the same margin on Tuesday.
The broader BG40, which includes the 40 most traded shares, dipped 0.06% to 121.89 points on Wednesday after gaining 0.97% in the previous trading session.
Total turnover on the regulated market plummeted to 637,900 levs ($415,700/326,200 euro) from 12.96 million levs on Tuesday.
Six of the nine SOFIX components that were traded on Wednesday fell and the remaining three ended flat.
Industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] led the SOFIX decliners for a second session running, closing 3.94% lower at 0.756 levs as 7,200 shares were traded.
The BG-REIT was the only share index to advance on Wednesday, closing 0.1% higher at 80.75 points after falling by 0.17% on Tuesday.
The BG TotalReturn30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, lost 0.69% to 254.40 points, following a 0.84% increase in the previous trading session.
The CGIX Corporate Governance index, which includes companies strictly applying corporate governance principles, ended 0.53% lower at 76.87 points. It rose 2.32% on Tuesday.
