Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma 9-mo sales revenue rises 2.0%

October 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Friday its sales revenue rose 2.0% in the first nine months of 2012.

Exports increased 7.0% through September, while revenue from domestic sales dropped by 10%, Sopharma said in a statement to the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE).

In September alone, Sopharma's sales revenue remained unchanged year-on-year. Revenue from sales in Bulgaria decreased by 9.0%, while exports were up 4.0% year-on-year.

Sopharma (www.sopharma.bg) exports to 28 countries.

Blue chip Sopharma was trading 1.25% lower at 2.36 levs ($1.56/1.21 euro) in a volume of 160 shares by 1340 GMT on the BSE on Friday.
