Bulgarian cable maker Emka 9-mo non-cons net profit rises 4.4%

October 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian cables and conductors producer Emka [BUL:57E] said on Friday its non-consolidated net profit rose by 4.4% to 4.04 million levs ($2.7 million/2.1 million euro) in the nine months through September.

Non-consolidated net sales revenue amounted to some 60 million levs in the January-September period, up from 57.7 million levs in the same period last year, Emka said in a statement filed with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE).

Emka's stock, a component of the broader BG40 index of the BSE, traded 4.9% higher at 1.5 levs in a volume of 2,236 shares by 0910 GMT on Friday.
