Bulgaria sees 2012 concession revenue rising to 102 mln euro

SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 25 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s concessions revenue is expected to rise to 200 million levs ($132 million/102.3 million euro) by the end of 2012 from 63 million levs a year earlier, the economy ministry said.

The sum includes 40 million euro ($51.6 million) that France’s Total paid Bulgaria in the form of a bonus payment after signing a five-year contract agreement for deepwater gas drilling off the country’s Black Sea coast, the ministry said in a statement on Monday, quoting economy minister Delyan Dobrev.
