Bulgaria seeks supervisor for Studena dam rehabilitation

SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 17 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria has opened a tender for a consultant to supervise the rehabilitation of the Studena dam, the regional development ministry said.

Bulgaria seeks supervisor for Studena dam rehabilitation

Candidates should express their interest by September 20, the ministry said in a statement on its website.

The project will be financed with proceeds from a recently received World Bank loan. The consulting services will be required for approximately 46 months from the contract signing.

Studena dam is located on the Struma river, some 15 kilometres upstream from the town of Pernik, in soutwestern Bulgaria.
