The financing became possible after the government approved an amendment to EU operational programme Innovations and Competitiveness aimed at supporting Bulgarian businesses, it said in a statement on Wednesday.
The programme is co-financed by the EU and the Bulgarian state budget.
Earlier this month, the government approved additional aid of 8.4 million levs for hotel operators who accommodate Ukrainian refugees.
The ministry of tourism has also launched three projects aimed at covering costs already incurred for accommodation and feeding of displaced people from Ukraine. The projects are worth 40 million levs, 62.9 million levs and 30.59 million levs, respectively.
