Greece posted the lowest annual inflation among EU countries in the region in October, of 9.5%, the bloc's statistical office said in a monthly report.
In monthly terms, only Greece among the five EU members from SEE recorded a decline in consumer prices, of 1.2%.
Month-on-month, Romania led the SEE countries table with the highest rise in consumer prices, of 1.3%.
Croatia and Romania were the only SEE member states in the EU where inflation was higher in October than in September.
Eurostat tracks EU members' inflation rates measured under the EU's Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP).
