October 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's consolidated budget gap totalled 541.1 million levs ($410.2 million/276.6 million euro) through September, preliminary data of the Finance Ministry showed on Tuesday.
Bulgaria had a consolidated budget surplus of close to 5.0 billion levs in the first nine months of 2008.
The country's consolidated budget gap through August was 478.7 million levs.

Finance Minister Simeon Dyankov has said that the centre-right government led by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, which ousted from power a Socialist-led tripartite coalition in July, will aim for a balanced budget this year.
The country ended 2008 with a budget surplus equivalent to 3.0% of gross domestic product.
