In contrast, Slovenia registered the second-highest annual rise in industrial PPI in the EU and sole increase among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE), at 2.5%, the bloc's statistical office said in a data release.
Elsewhere in SEE, Greece's industrial producer prices went down 14.7% in annual terms, marking the third-largest decline in the EU. Greece also recorded the third-highest monthly fall in the bloc, at 1.9%.
Romania was the only country among EU members in SEE to post a monthly industrial PPI rise in the review month, at 0.6%.
Industrial producer prices in the EU overall slipped by 8.7% on the year and inched up 0.2% month-on-month in October.
