Bulgaria opens 18.4 mln euro tender for voting machines for 2021 elections

November 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Central Election Commission said on Monday that it has launched a tender for a 36 million levs ($21.9 million/18.4 million euro) contract for supply of voting machines for the forthcoming parliamentary elections next year.

The deal also envisages the delivery of the necessary software and the training of CEC employees to handle the machines, the CEC said in a tender notice.

The contract provides for the delivery of 9,600 voting machines.

The deadline for submitting offers is November 29.

Bids will be ranked solely based on price.
