July 9 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s financial regulator said on Wednesday it licensed Global Markets as an investment intermediary.
Sofia-based Global Markets is 95% owned by businessman Pavel Kochalka and the remainder is owned by Vladimir Tsolov, the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) said in a statement.
The company plans to operate in the European Union and on the New York Stock Exchange, FSC spokesman Milko Stoimenov told reporters.
There are nearly 80 investment intermediaries in Bulgaria.
