November 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said on Wednesday that it has launched a tender worth an indicative 88 million levs ($46.7 million/44.9 million euro) for the reconstruction and upgrade of a secondary road in the southeastern part of the country leading to the border with Turkey.
The planned construction works cover a stretch of 58.6 km of road which connects the town of Tsarevo, on the Black Sea coast, to the town of Malko Tarnovo near the border with Turkey, the government agency said in a press release.
The deadline for submission of bids is January 12, 2023. The works will involve laying a new road surface, improving drainage and upgrading four bridges.
The winning bidder will have 600 calendar days from the signing of the contract to carry out the overhaul.
