Bulgaria 8-mo new passenger car registrations up 2.1% - ACEA

September 18 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria rose by 2.1% on the year to 12,905 in the first eight months of 2012, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Tuesday.

In August alone, the new passenger cars registered in Bulgaria decreased by an annual 7.6% to 1,519, ACEA said in a statement published on its website.

New car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 7.1% to 8.27 million in the January-August period, ACEA said.
