November 11 (SeeNews) - Bucharest Stock Exchange-listed Purcari Wineries [BSE:WINE] said on Monday that it has repurchased 15,242 own shares in the period November 4-8 for a total of some 340,700 lei ($78,900/71,500 euro).
The average price per share of the repurchases made during the trading week ended November 8 was 22.35 lei, according to data from Purcari Wineries' bourse filing.
Since the launch of its share repurchase programme, Purcari Wineries has bought back 191,033 shares for some 4.3 million lei.
The company intends to buy back an additional 8,867 own shares under its current programme.
As at 11:30 CET on Monday, Purcari Wineries shares traded at 23 lei, unchanged from their previous closing price.
Purcari Wineries is a public company incorporated under the laws of Cyprus, which owns wineries in Romania and Moldova. The company was admitted to trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in February 2018 and is now part of the blue-chip BET index.
Purcari Wineries owns over 1,000 hectares of vines and four wineries in Romania and Moldova - Bostavan, Purcari, Ceptura and Bardar. Its main markets are Romania, Moldova, and Poland.
