Bosnia’s Volksbank renames to Sberbank

BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 18 (SeeNews) – Bosnia’s Volksbank, a unit of Austrian-based Sberbank Europe, said on Tuesday it has been renamed to Sberbank a.d. Banja Luka.

Bosnia’s Volksbank renames to Sberbank

The change was registered with the administrative court in Banja Luka on December 13, the bank said in a filing with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.

Sberbank Europe, part of Russia's Sberbank, was formerly known as Volksbank International.

Banja Luka is an administative centre of the Serb Republic, one of the two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
