Bosnia's Val-Brana submits EIA request for 0.9 MW HPP

June 3 (SeeNews) - The environment ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federation said it has received a request by local company Val-Brana to conduct preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the planned construction of the 0.9 MW hydropower plant Rijeka in the municipality of Vitez.

The public can examine the request and submit an opinion within 30 days from their announcement, the ministry said in a notice on Friday.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Serb Republic.
