Bosnia's UniCredit Bank Mostar to distribute lower dividend for 2023

December 4 (SeeNews) - UniCredit Bank Mostar [SAJ:ZGPMR], part of Italy's UniCredit Group, said on Monday that its shareholders have approved a plan to distribute a dividend of 377.61 marka ($209.1/193.1 euro) per share in 2023, down from 739.06 marka paid out a year earlier.

UniCredit Bank Mostar will distribute a total of 45 million marka as dividend, using retained earnings, the lender said in a bourse filing.

The dividend proposal was approved by UniCredit Bank Mostar’s shareholders on December 4.

UniCredit Bank Mostar booked a net profit of 76.6 million marka in 2022, down 6.6% year-on-year.

The lender's shares last traded on the Sarajevo bourse on May 26, when they closed 48.81% higher at 7,500 marka.

UniCredit Bank Mostar is based in the Federation, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. UniCredit Group has another bank in Bosnia, UniCredit Bank Banja Luka, headquartered in the other entity - the Serb Republic.
