Bosnia's Solar Energy submits EIA request for 65 MWp solar plant

February 23 (SeeNews) - The environment ministry of Bosnia's Serb Republic said it has received a request from local company Solar Energy to conduct a preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) of a project for the construction of a 64.8 MWp solar power plant in Bijeljina.

The Bijeljina power plant will be built on a plot of 87.46 hectares, the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

The public can examine the requests and submit an opinion within 15 days from their announcement.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
