Bosnia's Sirbegovic Group Wins 70 Mln Euro Construction Deals in Lybia - Media

December 2 (SeeNews) - Bosnian construction company Sirbegovic Group has won contracts worth 70 million euro ($88.4 million) to build sports halls, a football stadium and a tourism complex in Libya, Bosnian media reported on Tuesday.

The ten smaller and four bigger sports halls, the stadium and the 200-hectare tourist complex will be located in the northern seaside town of Misurata, business news daily Poslovne Novine reported on its website.

Sirbegovic Group will build the smaller sports halls and the stadium by September next year. The completion of the four bigger halls and the tourism complex, which will include hotels and its own beach, is planned for 2010, the daily reported.

The Sirbegovic group (www.sirbegovic.com) is based in Gracanica and has regional offices in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. Its main activities are design, engineering, construction and transport.
