In August alone, the tax administration of the Serb Republic collected 283.1 million marka in taxes, some 25% higher compared with August 2021, the entity's tax office said in a statement last week.
In the January-August period, revenue from direct taxes reached 466.5 million marka, some 128.6 million marka more than in the same period last year.
Revenue from contributions increased to 1.276 billion marka in the first eight months of 2022, up by 109.5 million marka compared with the January-August period of 2021. Other public revenue came in at 327.8 million marka in January-August 2022, some 14.4 million more than the first eight months of 2021.
The Serb Republic is one of two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
