Bosnia's Serb Republic Sept Tourist Numbers Edge up 0.8% Y/Y - Table

November 6 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists in Bosnia's Serb Republic totalled 20,929 in September, up 0.8% on the year and 3.9% more than a month earlier, official data showed on Thursday.

Tourist arrivals in the first nine months of 2008 totalled 184,621, 10.2% more than a year earlier, the Serb Republic's Statistics Office said in a statement posted on its website.

The number of tourist overnights rose by 4.0% year-on-year in September to 59,136. Most foreign tourists visiting the Serb Republic came from neighbouring Serbia, followed by tourists from Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.

The Serb Republic and the Muslim-Croat Federation are the two autonomous parts of war-divided Bosnia.
