The government paper was sold at auctions on December 14 and 15, at par value, with the weighted average yield rising to 6% from 2.50% at the previous auction of ten-year T-notes held in February 2021, according to information published by the BLSE.
The issue carries a coupon of 6%, higher than the 3% coupon of the 2021 issue.
Coupon payments are due yearly. The principal is payable at maturity.
