Bosnia's Serb Republic railways operator cuts 9-mo net loss

November 1 (SeeNews) - Zeljeznice Republike Srpske [BANJ:ZERS-R-A], the railway operator of Bosnia's Serb Republic, said its net loss narrowed to 10.8 million marka ($7.1 million/5.5 million euro) in the first nine months of 2012 from 15.6 million marka a year earlier.

The company's total income decreased to 56.2 million marka in the first nine months from 60.6 million a year earlier, while total costs fell to 67.1 million marka from 76.2 million, Zeljeznice RS said in its financial statement filed with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

The Serb Republic and the Muslim-Croat Federation are the two parts that make up Bosnia. Zeljeznice Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine is the railway company of the Federation.
