October 22 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic government officials and the entity's airport operator Aerodromi Republike Srpske have discussed the potential introduction of a direct flight linking Banja Luka and Russia's Moscow, the Serb Republic's tourism ministry said.
The objective is to attract Russian tourists and the Serb Republic will support all activities related to the introduction of such flights, the tourism ministry said in a press release on Monday.
Travel agencies will conduct additional analyses in order to assess the entity's tourism potential, which will later form the basis of negotiations with airlines ready to serve the route.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
