Bosnia's Serb Republic Nov Industrial Output Rises 22.9% Y/Y, Up 23.6% M/M - Table

In October, the Serb Republic's industrial output index increased by an annual 0.5% and was 1.4% higher than in September.

Industrial production rose by 8.8% on the year in the first 11 months of 2008, the Republic's Statistics Office said in a statement posted on its website.

The sub-index for the output of the mining industry rose by 14.6% through November and the processing industry index was 7.1% higher on the year. Electricity production and gas and water supply in the 11 months of 2008 were up 11.9%.

The index measuring the production of capital goods decreased by an annual 11% from January to November, while the output of semi-finished goods was up by 3.4%. Production of durable and non-durable consumer goods rose by 31.5% and 4.1%, respectively, and energy generation was up 23.5%.
